Naomi Ragen is an American-born novelist, playwright and journalist who has lived in Israel since 1971. She has published thirteen internationally best-selling novels, and is the author of a hit play, "Women's Minyan", that has been performed more than a thousand times in Israel's National Theatre as well as in the United States and Argentina. Naomi has written for the Jerusalem Post and other publications in Israel and abroad, as well as to her blog list, about Israel and Jewish issues. An Orthodox woman, feminist and iconoclast, Naomi is a tireless advocate for women's rights in Israel, waging a relentless campaign against domestic abuse and bias in rabbinical courts, as well as a successful Supreme Court case against gender segregation on Israeli buses.

BookReporter reviewed the book and said "No one writes about observant Jews as well as Naomi Ragen, whose first novel, Jephte's Daughter, is considered one of the 100 most important Jewish books ever written. ... An Observant Wife joins the list of Ragen's books about Jewish life that will stand the test of time and become classics. To order the book from Amazon, click here.

September 2020 - An Unorthodox Match, my eleventh novel, a powerful and moving story of faith, love, and acceptance, was published in paperback.
Ms. Magazine described it as "a book that will transport you".
