On December 24, a Turkish Pro-Erdogan daily declared that “Israel Is Enemy Number One.”
I suppose the Trilateral Work Plan for Millitary Cooperation Between Greece, Cyprus, and Israel, which was signed last week, might have something to do with it. The agreement establishes military cooperation between the IDF, Hellenic Armed Forces and the Cypriot National Guard.
Iran is also sure that Israel, the United States and Europe are its greatest enemies.
Imagine, Israel, little Israel is making them both shake in their worn out, economically-destroyed, drought-hit boots! I have to say, folks, this is just going to my head. In markets and shopping centers across Tehran today Iranians protested the collapse of the Iranian currency, rising inflation, and the difficult economic situation. Iranian currency lost an additional 5% of its value in one day and is trading at 1.44 million Iranian rials to one US dollar.
But if they want a war anyway, then I guess it’s a good thing that just this morning the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D) and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems delivered the first Iron Beam laser system to the IDF. At an official ceremony held at Rafael’s headquarters in northern Israel, this amazing technological breakthrough was officially welcomed into Israel’s advanced arsenal. The system, which has done shockingly well in intercepting rockets, mortars, and drones/UAVs, will now be working side by side with the Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow systems. This is a worldwide technological and engineering breakthrough whose great advantage is its negligible cost of operation compared to the other systems.
In the same vein, Israel’s new “Access to Space” initiative creates a national research and development laboratory to help local tech companies reach the stars. The national lab will be subsidizing the development, testing, launch and in-orbit operation of space technologies to make it easier for local start ups.
Given that Russia just launched its billion dollar space rocket carrying three Iranian sattelites (and fifty other nefarious Russian sattelites for its own evil purposes) Israel has no choice but to stay ahead of the game.
There are just four days to go until President Trump’s ultimatum to Hezbollah to disarm runs out. Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has reiterated it has no intention of doing so: ”We will not hand over our weapons, we will not withdraw, and we will not surrender.”
From Abu Ali: “Lebanese sources report 6 attacks by Israeli fighter jets in the Hermel area in northern Lebanon and 8 additional attacks in the Jezzine-Jbaa and Bint Jbeil areas in southern Lebanon.” IDF troops operating in Lebanon found documentation that Hezbollah had planned to invade the northern Galilee in tandem with Hamas’s incursion into southern Israel.
After the deadline passes, expect all out war. Israeli emergency squad members are holding drills in small communities along the border with Lebanon.
In Gaza, believe it or not, there are still miles and miles of tunnels that still need to be blown up! Israel, freed from the fear of killing our hostages, is making the most of it, this week destroying another four kilometers of tunnels in northern Gaza.
A 19 year-old Israeli woman and a 68 yer-old man were murdered and two other Israelis injured near Kibbutz Ein Harod and Beit She’an in a series of ramming and knife attacks carried out by a lone Palestinian Arab terrorist, 34 year-old Ahmad Abu al-Rub, from Qabatiya, near Jenin. He had been working illegally in Israel, the Kan public broadcaster reported.
He was shot near Afula, but unfortunately isn’t dead. He was released from the hospital on Shabbat into a a security facility for questioning. Defence Minister Israel Katz tweeted that Israel Defence Forces are “operating with full force against the terror hotspots in the village of Qabatiya from which the terrorist murderer set forth.” His home has been sealed and his village cordoned off. Israel isn’t fooling around with these animals anymore. His two brothers were subsequently also found to be illegally in Israel.
I wish all of you happy holidays, and a better year ahead.
