GAZA WAR DIARY: 8 OCTOBER 2024

Although all of us have our ups and downs, especially with all the sirens going off all over the place, I have to say I think we have finally turned an important corner towards not only victory, but a completely new strategic situation in our area that will protect Israel’s safety for the foreseeable future. I’m actually feeling very optimistic.

One sign of this is that although terrorist forces backed by Iran had desperately wanted to do something murderously awful to brag about on October 7 this year, except for setting off sirens three times in Tel Aviv, they did almost nothing on the ground. How wonderful is that? Because what that means is that they simply don’t have the capability of landing stronger blows. Thank God!

In fact, Hezbollah sent fewer missiles yesterday than they did previously. This is not surprising. Hezbollah – the big, bad wolf we in Israel have been so terrified to defend ourselves against all these years – is now fundamentally crushed. Its leadership has been decisively eliminated. Its weapons are being exploded and destroyed (or carried away as spoil into Israel!) day by day. Just one Israeli commando unit used 100 tons of explosives to destroy the massive weapons bunkers in their area alone, weapons meant for an invasion of the Galillee. Two hundred Hezbollah operatives were killed.

As for the mortar bombs and rockets in towns not adjacent to the Israeli border like Bint Jabil an A-Tayba, which cannot be addressed by ground troops, the army is planning to use massive air strikes to eliminate them, soon making it safe for the residents of the Galillee to go home.

I’m sure our troops appreciate that Hezbollah has lost all its means of communication. Thank you beeper and walkie-talkie explosions!

Abu Ali says it best: “Every time I see the destruction in Dahieh after hundreds of strikes there, I remember all the threats in Nasrallah’s speeches over the years about what would happen if Israel dared to attack even once in Lebanon, threats that shook Israeli leaders and prevented them from attacking any kind of weaponry in Lebanon. Instead of attacking, Israel organized “media exposures” accompanied by maps of weapon centers in Dahieh. Even in the first ten months of the war, there was a great fear of attacking in Dahieh.

“And now… it’s as if the IDF is attacking a training area in the Negev, without limitation and without threat to the aircraft. It takes time to sink in. This is the wonderful new reality. Nasrallah orchestrated one of the best psychological-warfare operations seen here in recent decades. Let’s hope we all learned the lesson.”

In a surgical strike yesterday, the IAF eliminated Suhail Hussein Husseini, Commander of the Hezbollah terrorist organization headquarters in Beirut which oversees logistics, budgeting and management for the Hezbollah terrorist organization. Husseini was a big shot, filling a crucial role in transferring advanced weapons between Iran and Hezbollah, and overseeing their delivery and distribution among various Hezbollah units. In addition, he sat on the Jihad Council, Hezbollah’s senior military leadership. The destroyed headquarters housed Hezbollah’s Research and Development Unit, responsible for manufacturing precision-guided missiles as well as managing the storage and transportation of weapons. Husseini was the man responsible for Hezbollah’s war plans against Israel and coordinating terror attacks against us from Syria and Lebanon.

That is why Dahieh has been targeted, and why it is now rubble. Israel has given everyone ample warning to get the hell out of that area. There aren’t going to be any more “knocks on the roof.” If anyone continues to live in that Hezbollah stronghold, they are toast.

According to Lebanese sources, Israel hasn’t allowed Lebanese “rescue forces” – since they have no compunction about using ambulances to transport weapons, it’s hard to take that designation seriously – to approach those headquarters in Dahieh. Israel has announced that the bombings also eliminated Hashim Safi al-Din, Nasrallah’s designated successor, a cleric who has served as the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council since 2001. A maternal cousin of Nasrallah, he has been declared a Specially Desinated International Terrorist by the United States and a terrorist by Saudi Arabia.

A demonstration planned for 10 AM today by Hezbollah-supporting journalists, publicists, and human rights organizations, calling for access for the rescue forces has been “postponed” because the planners were “unable to organize the necessary security to ensure the safety of the participants.” Ha ha! You betcha.

In an additional demoralizing situation for the terrorists, the IDF has raised the Israeli flag over Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon, where the statue of assassinated mass murderer Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, was previously placed, his finger pointing at Israel. It was also the spot from which Hezbollah fired anti-tank missiles into private homes in the Galilee, killing innocent civilians.

How proud we are of our troops! They are truly lions. May the God of Abraham continue to keep watch over them. And may our enemies’ rockets continue to be blown out of our skies leaving behind minor debris and no serious injuries.

As for Sinwar, Israeli sources say that recent information saying Sinwar contacted the Qatari negotiator after a long period of silence is baloney. No one has heard from him. Is he even alive? I don’t know. In the meantime, the Iranians are jumping at their own shadows, shaking in their boots. The other day it was reported that explosions were heard in the sky over the site of their nuclear facilities. Turns out, Iranians thought they saw something in the sky and started firing wildly!

Hey Mullahs – Boo! We are coming for you, but you won’t see it before it’s too late.

Israel wil go down in history as the great defender of the West. I truly believe, thanks to Israel and the wonderful IDF and IAF, the landscape in the middle east will shift. Iranian citizens and Lebanese citizens will be freed from the insane rule that has had them captive. I pray that Trump gets in. It has been a hard year but something good always comes from such difficulties.
Wishing you and your family all of the very best through the high holidays Naomi.

Naomi, you made me laugh today. Seeing all the rockets over Haifa a few hours ago was really worrisome. Harris, not yet President, promised 157 million to Lebanon yesterday. To WHOM in Lebanon?? Like the 6.8 Billion to Iran for five Iranian Americans that Blinken said must be used for humanitarian aid only. Riiight. So much Hurricane news here, very severe but she didn’t promise those who lost everything a thing but 300 to 750$ dollars. But we have money for Iran, Egypt, Lebanon, Gaza etc. etc. Well, I hope big BOO is in store from Israel to you know who!!! May the IDF soldiers who have given their lives in Lebanon and Gaza left many good memories behind. I always remember their beautiful smiles. 😢. 🙏🇮🇱🌷 Thank you Naomi!!!

Next step should be freezing and/or seizing the billions of dollars hidden in foreign banks by Hamas and other terrorist scum hiding in Qatar and other countries! They won’t need it where they’re going.
