Dear Miss Manners,
I am writing to you on a matter of urgent timeliness and importance to Israeli citizens. As you know, Israel is fighting a war against Islamic terrorist murderers on six fronts, but of late the retarded and evil leaders of the West, who should be her allies because they are next, are refusing to sell her weapons. However, in the recent IDF incursions into South Lebanon, Israel has found fantastically stocked weapons depots all along the border, which she has emptied and carted by the truckload back to refill her own supplies. Rockets, anti-tank shells, rifles, machine guns, bullets, and everything in -between! Worth untold millions! All courtesy of the Iranian mullahs!
My question is, would it be appropriate for me as an Israeli citizen to send an embossed thank you note directly to Ali Khamenei, who paid for and supplied these weapons we have now repurposed from their original application (the destruction of the people of the Galilee)?
Also, would it be polite to mention those untold thousands of Iranian-supplied weapons we have bombed to smithereens since they are no longer useful to the people of Lebanon and could, in fact, have accidentally blown many uninvolved Lebanese citizen to Kingdom Come? Or would that set the wrong tone?
Breathlessly awaiting your reply, An Israeli Citizen of the North
More wrong-headed decisions by that senile idiot in The White House (and its mentally-challenged VP, who is eager to give us four more years of the same) who today told reporters that while it supports Israel, it “cannot allow Lebanon to become a second Gaza.”
Where to begin?
Israel Today: “Washington ALREADY allowed Lebanon to become a second Gaza DECADES AGO by doing too little to prevent its takeover by a terrorist organization – Hezbollah. Just like Gaza. Now the Biden Admin wants to prevent Lebanon from experiencing the same devastation as Gaza has suffered, AS A RESULT OF BECOMING A HAVEN FOR TERRORISTS. Well, how about putting a little more pressure on Lebanon to NOT LET ITS TERRITORY BE USED FOR TERRORISM?! Why is it that everyone always suddenly wakes up to a problem only when Israel responds to it?”
Last night, the IDF spokesman announced the assassination of the Hezbollah commander of the Hula area, Ahmed Alhaj Ali, who was responsible for launching hundreds of rockets and anti-tank missiles at Kiryat Shmona.
Also, Muhammad Hamdan, the commander of Hezbollah’s anti-tank system in Mis Al-Jabal, was killed.
In addition, the IDF attacked weapons warehouses and military infrastructure in the Harat Harik neighborhood in Dahiya in Beirut, after an evacuation alert.
Just yesterday, two Israeli citizens- Dvir Shavit and Roital Yehud, were walking their dogs in Kiryat Shmona when they were killed by Hezbollah rockets. Roital’s family revealed that she had recovered from cancer two years prior and relocated to Kiryat Shmona to support her partner, who had begun working as a confectioner in the Galilee. Despite family concerns urging her to leave for Be’er Sheva, Roital and Dvir chose to remain in the city with their three dogs, all of whom were also killed by shrapnel from the missile attack. (Perhaps this fact might interest all those in the streets of Western cities supporting Hezbollah terrorists. The death of Israeli human beings certainly doesn’t.) They didn’t have time to reach a shelter. Forty rockets have been fired at Kiryat Shmona since this morning.
Abu Ali: The Lebanese are reporting nine IDF strikes a short while ago in the Hermel area, near the Syrian border in northeastern Lebanon. It appears that roads were also targeted to prevent the entry of weapons from Lebanon. There is a significant Iranian effort to push more and more weapons through Syria to the bleeding Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Perhaps we should add to our thank you note: “While we appreciate your generosity, please discontinue supply. Our warehouses are stuffed.” ?
I agree with the following editorial from Israel Today. What about you?
“In regard to hitting Iran and the war in Lebanon, the nation of Israel is at odds with the Biden Administration and other Western allies. A strong majority want to see Israel strike Iran’s nuclear and oil facilities, regardless of the risk of another major Iranian retaliation or even a regional war. They see this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cripple the Iranian threat, including the Hezbollah stranglehold on Lebanon. From the perspective of many in the West, it might seem like madness for Israel to take such risks. From an Israeli perspective, it seems like madness to miss this opportunity.”
