I suppose I could tell you all about all the terrorists we killed today, and how the Lebanese are now fleeing, trapped in their cars because they have no place to go, something they should have thought of when they allowed Hezbollah to take over their country and rent out rooms in their homes to place long range missiles to murder Israelis. But honestly, what difference does it make? We will finish them off, the way we will finish off Hamas. It will take time, but it will be another clear victory for the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
It will not bring back the precious dead, our fellow countrymen, women, children, who were brutalized and murdered and who are still being tortured, for no other reason than their Jewishness. Or all the young men and women of the IDF who heroically sacrificed their young lives to save the rest of us from annihilation. But it will grant us freedom to continue our lives in our homeland and send a clear warning to other jihadi dreamers that their foolish attacks will cost them dearly.
As for all those whining about “genocide” when that is exactly what our enemies were attempting to do to us; and “apartheid” when Muslim countries allow no Jews to live there, who cares? I’m so tired of trying to convince online idiots and people like Keir Starmer. Listen to him calling for a ceasefire and the return of “sausages.”
Ha!
But I will tell you this. I was in a Zumba class today, as I knew I would be, even though I was half awake all night waiting for a siren to go off, which it didn’t. And I looked around at all the women dancing up a storm; women in their sixties and seventies with children and grandchildren in the army for the last year, women who’ve been cooking meals for soldiers at the front, and praying for the hostages, and who are now living under the threat of missiles falling into their laps and destroying their homes, and I thought: I so admire them, their ability to keep on going. To smile. To dance. To cook. To stay put and fight for themselves and their families even when a terrorist organization has an arsenal, a stash, of Iranian weapons that could easily destroy our entire town. I admire their strength, and their faith, and their courage, their ability to shrug off the slings and arrows of antisemitic ugliness sent our way from around the globe. I’m so glad to be here, to be part of all this, together with them, the best people in the world.
My friend, Abu Ali, put it this way yesterday: “In my opinion, today was one of the most important days of the last year, in terms of restoring Israeli deterrence, looking to the future, in terms of redesigning the Middle East for many years to come.
“The entire Middle East gathered in the stands of the regional coliseum to watch the gladiatorial battle of the decade, the best show in town: the IDF against the most well-equipped terrorist organization in the world, which has been preparing for battle for years.
“The result was an unequivocal knock out. In less than a day, with 1,300 precise strikes, the IDF managed to reduce by an amazing percentage the arsenal of weapons collected by Hezbollah for over 20 years.
“Israel sent 1300 accurate attacks from the air as oppposed to 200 stupid Hezbollah rocket attacks. Hundreds of dead and over 1,500 wounded for the enemy.
“The enemy is running for its life. It’s a fugitive, absent. Didn’t come to the fight.
And all this after a year in which all Iran’s proxies worked so hard to weaken the power of the IDF.
“This is a historic event. Today Israel bought herself a lot of quiet friends in the jungle that appreciates only those who are strong. The campaign is still in its infancy, but today is a turning point. I am convinced that many Israeli citizens’ chests burst with pride today. That’s part of the point. We earned it honestly. We deserve it.
“Now we continue. Until the end. With infinite patience. Until we win.”
This is what victory looks like: Gaza destroyed. Thousands of Lebanese fleeing to Syria. Exactly what we read in the synagogue this past Shabbat: Deuteronomy 28:7 – “The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.”
Hezbollah fired 400 missiles at Israel today. There were, thank God, no causalties. But a grocery store in an Arab village in the Galilee was hit, taking a toll on its supply of sanitary napkins and adult diapers. Also, they hit some poor cows. Cows and chickens.
As Gallant told troops today: “The Hezbollah of today is not the Hezbollah of yesterday.” The IDF has decimated their ranks, so much so that they have stopped announcing their dead, which they did faithfully until yesterday. There are just too many. May this continue until we finish off this despicable group of blood -thirsty antisemites. May we do to them all they wished to do to us and more so that they never raise their heads again.
As for Gaza, they are still trying to gain our sympathy. Note this video, and how the “dead” child can’t resist the itch on his foot and comes back to life to scratch it (and look at the camera).
