GAZA WAR DIARY: 30 MARCH 2025

What will it take to end the war in Gaza? Prime Minister Netanyahu presented the following points to the government today concerning “The Day After”:

1. Hamas will lay down its weapons.

2. Hamas leaders will be exiled from the Gaza Strip.

3. Israel will ensure general security in the Gaza Strip.

4. Israel will enable the Trump plan for voluntary emigration.

Despite delusional counter-suggestions coming from the oxygen-starved tunnel brains of Hamas leadership, encouraged by non-starter Egyptian proposals for the release of five hostages in exchange for a fifty day ceasefire and massive aid resumption, the above is the only proposal now on the table. Senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya: “Hamas’s weapons in Gaza are a red line, we will not disarm for the sake of any deal.” So, there you go.

The forum representing families of hostages in Gaza also calls on the government to reject the Egyptian proposal: “Another proposal and another ‘selection’ process. Once again, individual hostages are to be released while the others are sentenced [to prolonged captivity, or worse]. We demand that the government strongly oppose and not allow another ‘selection’ among the hostages. The Israeli government must get them all out together, in one go, on one bus.”

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir told Channel 12 News that he told Israeli leaders: “Hamas is stalling for time—this is a strategy, not just a tactic. The IDF’s actions are hurting them and causing instability, but they are not leading to the release of hostages. Therefore, we have no choice—we must increase the pressure.”

According to Israel Today, one person was killed and another seriously wounded in a terrorist attack near Yokneam in Israel’s Lower Galilee on Tuesday. The attacker reportedly ran over civilians at a bus stop near Yokneam before opening fire at HaTishbi Junction. Security forces at the scene responded swiftly, neutralizing the terrorist.

About the same time, the IDF eliminated senior Hamas terrorist Ismail Barhoum inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. According to local reports, an IDF drone flew into the hospital, searched for Barhoum, and then exploded after finding him, avoiding any unnecessary collateral damage. His brother chose just that moment to make a sick call! Good timing! Local Palestinians were reportedly furious that Barhoum was hiding in the hospital, which is of course a regular tactic of Hamas.

As Muslim fanatic dictator Erdogan tries to brutally stifle the opposition, Israel is bombing airports in Syria that Erdogan plans to take over to create a Turkish army base on our borders. This we cannot allow. Look at Erdogan’s “blessings” on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr today: “We see what is happening in Palestine and I ask Almighty Allah to destroy Zionist Israel and make it weak and defeated.”

What could be clearer than that? President Trump has a blind spot where Turkey is concerned. I hope this blatant jihadi declaration opens his eyes. I agree with those who say that after such a statement, the Turkish ambassador should be expelled from Israel and the doors of the embassy should be locked until the Turkish president is replaced. Abu Ali: “Turkey under Erdogan’s rule is as powerful and dangerous an enemy as Iran.” True.

Over 16,000 Israeli soldiers have been wounded and received treatment since the war began on Oct. 7, 2023.

  • 66% are reservists
  • 51% are aged 18-30
  • 7% are women
  • 10,900 have physical injuries
  • 6% are moderate injuries
  • 4% are severe injuries
  • 50% are suffering psychological distress (PTSD)

Every time I open my Facebook feed, so many videos pop up asking for donations – to build a synagoue in the name of a religious, fallen son; to help a reservist’s widow left with three small children; to help a reserve soldier pay off his business debts; donations to help buy ceramic helmets for a platoon going into Gaza or Lebanon. Every single request is worthy. It’s like a giant wave that keeps crashing over me, again and again.

I went to Jerusalem this week to Shaare Tzedek hospital to visit with my newest great granddaughter (okay, I’m not that old, everyone just married young and had kids young… BTW, she’s adorable). At the entrance to the building was a memorial with framed photos of the relatives of staff members who have been lost in the war: brothers of nurses, the son of an accountant… beautiful, smiling faces, and so many of them, from just this one hospital in Jerusalem. It was so shocking.

I often ponder how are we going to get through this. After the danger has passed, the rockets silenced, the open hatred quelled, what kind of country will we be? How will we manage to help everyone who needs help? How will we put all the pieces back together of our beautiful, heartbreaking, worthy, gorgeous little country?

Perhaps with a little help from our friends, like our next American Ambassador who is truly a gift from God. This from Mike Huckabee’s Senate confirmation hearing on Tuesday: “The Jewish people need to know they have friends,” Huckabee said. “It’s going to be a privilege to be able to be one of those people — not Jewish, Christian in fact — to say to our Jewish friends: you will never go through what you’ve gone through alone. We will stand, not behind you; we will stand with you.”

We love him and we love his boss. I remember my mother telling me that my father cried when Roosevelt died. I feel the same kind of attachment and love for Trump. So you Trump Derangement people on my list, you are entitled to your opinion, but don’t share any anti-Trump garbage on my site unless you want to be permanently barred.

All the manuevering of the IDF and attempts to free the hostages has cost so many precious lives. But we are hopeful our military victory will have permanent security benefits over and above Hamas and Hezbollah causalties. In an interview with Israel radio, Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fox said: “Unequivocally, the security zones in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria are permanent zones.” Hope we stick to that.

According to Abu Ali, under the unofficial protection of an Israeli military umbrella, which would target any Hamas forces that reveal themselves, Gazans who oppose terrorist rule were out in the streets. A clan leader in northern Gaza told Arab media: “Hamas needs to free all the hostages, and Israel must release all our prisoners. We are not against Hamas. Hamas is part of us, but its rule has failed. We need to raise the white flag!”

On Monday and Wednesday, Gazans marched though Gaza protesting Hamas rule and waving white flags. Al Jazeerah, the most watched Arabic news outlet, refused to to cover it, which proves, in case anyone had a doubt, that the Qatari funded organization and its sponsors are Hamas terror supporters and enablers. Gazans are chanting: “No, no to Al Jazeera!! The people are the truth.” They are chanting against senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan:

Oh Hamdan, you deadbeat!
Our people don’t want to die!
Listen, listen, Hamdan.
Go, go to Iran.
Listen, listen, Hamdan.
Our people come first.

From Abu Ali: “Hamas, as in other cases in the past, is ‘hijacking the protest,’ ignoring the fact that it is being directed against it and trying to divert the anger toward Israel. The official Hamas website publishes a proclamation from the National and Islamic Action factions in Gaza, stating that the factions support (!) the protest calling for an end to the war and opposing the expulsion of Gaza residents from their land. The proclamation warns against “attempts by the occupation to divert the compass” of the protest against the “resistance.” And if gaslighting doesn’t work, it has been reported that six anti-Hamas protestors were kidnapped and tortured by Hamas. Protests reportedly died down after that.

Still Sami Obeid, a Gaza resident who participated in the demonstrations against Hamas, bravely told Israeli radio today: “The residents must come out, oppose Hamas and tell it, ‘Enough – 20 years is enough.’ Most residents do not want Hamas to rule. Israel must think about annexing Gaza, that is the solution – not immigration.” You hear that? A vote for retaking the Strip. I’m in favor.

Despite the Americans faithfully keeping their word and bombing the living daylights out of the Houthis, those drug-addled terrorists are still managing to get off some rockets in our direction. Shrapnel from attacks against incoming missiles found their way to an elementary school and rooftops in Tzur Hadassah today, causing damage but no casultiies.

On Wednesday they bombed twenty places in Sana’a, including their international airport (oh dear, how will notorious internet antisemite Jackson Hinckle, visiting there now, get home?) – let’s hope the American bombs get him too!

From the IDF spokesperson: “Troops of the 14th Brigade, under the command of the Gaza Division and guided by the Intelligence Directorate and the ISA, have been operating in recent days in the Tel al-Sultan area of Rafah, after completing the encirclement of the area in just four hours.

As part of the operation, dozens of terrorists were eliminated and suspects were apprehended and transferred to Unit 504 for further questioning within Israeli territory. Additionally, the troops located several shells inside Hamas terrorist infrastructure that had previously served as the “Al-Fadallah” school. A 25-barrel launcher was also located in the area.”

IDF: A joint team of experts from the IDF and the Israeli Ministry of Defense landed in Bangkok this morning (Sunday) following the earthquake that occurred last Friday in South Asia.

The team, consisting of engineering and civil affairs officers from the National Rescue Unit of the Home Front Command and coordinated by the International Cooperation Unit, began their mission by conducting a situational assessment and sharing technological expertise to the Thai authorities.

And for those interested in the ongoing domestic protests (I personally have zero interest in the continuing mayhem during wartime created by these power hungry Leftists) I post here the URL to an article that might prove enlightening.

Can you recommend some worthy charities we can donate to? It’s hard to know what is legitimate.

when oh when will the left leaning Jewish Americans get the message???? Seems like they can’t recognize evil until it kicks in their front door and their rooted hatred of President Trump leads them to perverse conclusions about his connection to Israel…..the same people who feel the horror of the holocaust can’t see the evil of Islam….yes….it’s an evil faith. Read the Koran and the Hadith….

gazans are rebelling against hamas but none of them are freeing the hostages in their midst??
that tells you that they really are not rebelling just out to cover their own behinds & their own interests.

Yes –Ellen shows up often to display her TDS –and that she is completely uninformed –or gaslight. Let’s award her the “useful idiot” certificate…she’d probably be proud to hang it on her wall.

What does this comment even mean? It is an idiotic blathering of nonsense—as usual from Ellen
