More and more, I think that Israeli and American politics are starting to mirror each other. This week, once again, Leftist Israelis have taken to the streets to violently protest things that most of us cannot fathom.
For example, they are up in arms because the government voted unanimously to fire Ronen Bar, head of the Intelligence Service. That would be the same head of the Intelligence Service that was in charge on October 7 and gave Israelis absolutely no notice at all when Hamas waltzed in over the border and murdered 1200 of us. You’d think anybody in his right mind in Israel would agree that to get rid of him was a no-brainer. Not so fast. If Netanyahu wants it, it must be bad. Does that remind you of the Democrats denigrating Trump for securing the borders, deporting illegal criminals, attacking waste and fraud? Sure sounds similar to me.
And then we have our courts getting involved. What does the Supreme Court have to do with the appointment of firing of a person chosen by the Prime Minister? Does that sound like an Israeli version of lawfare to you? Ditto for the outrage over the the firing of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miarawho has been politicizing her work and obstructing the government’s agenda at every turn. And what do they all say out there in the streets, waving their flags and beating their drums? It’s all in the name of democracy!
Hello, the same people who have spent $42 million dollars – given to them by Israel’s enemies – to overthrow the results of her democratic election have the chutzpah to talk about the danger to Israeli democracy. Don’t make me laugh. I really think that the leaders of this movment would be happy to see HAMAS win if such a turn of events would get rid of Netanyahu.
Now I have my problems with Netanyahu, who, after all, was Prime Minister of the country when these monsters waltzed over the border. Worse, he had been financing them for years in the mistaken idea that they were willing to live side by side with us, even though they were regularly bombing Sderot and Ashkelon.
But the proper way to get rid of Netanyahu is at the polls by offering us someone better. I have yet to hear from the protestors who that might be.
I see the same thing in the States with the anti Trump. But whom did they want put in power? Joe Biden. And then tried to replace him with Kamala Harris. Please.
But I’m not worried about a civil war. First of all, we are nowhere near evenly divided. And the sane majority agrees with the government, not the protestors.
Well, once again, we’ve got the Houthis, that savage bunch of drug addicts sending rockets in our direction. So far, they haven’t been able to hit us. But the sirens going off in the middle of the night cause injuries and forced my lovely granddaughter, Ariella who is about to give birth, to get up at 4 AM to run into a shelter with her two year-old! I am grateful for President Trump’s relentless bombing in Yemen and hopeful he will eventually wipe them off the map.
As far as the situation in Lebanon is concerned, the Lebanese government has to defeat Hezbollah if they want a country. That’s not our job, that’s their job. These are foreign terrorists on their soil attacking us, and it’s not our job but the job of the Lebanese army. So far we have bombed 50 plasitesces in the last few days. Until they do what they need to do, we have no choice.
That brings us back to Gaza. The Israeli government is now setting an official emigration authority to facilitate the exit of Gazans who have half a brain and want out of the rubble. I think that’s a very humane thing for us to do, and much more than they deserve for their wickedness. After listening to the stories of our hostages, I’d like to make it clear that I have absolutely zero sympathy for anybody in Gaza and couldn’t care less if they live or die or starve or freeze. Not a single one offered any kindness our hostages and they were all viciously in favor of everything that the terrorists did to harm us.
And in the meantime, we are consolidating the Israeli hold on Gaza and expanding our demilitarized zone by throwing them out of their tents near our borders. Katz, Minister of Defense, has made it clear that if they harm our remaining hostages in any way, we’re going to take over landf in Gaza permanently. There’s nothing you can do to hurt the so-called Palestinians more than to take land away from them. That’s the only thing that hurts them. The only purpose of their whole savage invasion was to take our land from us, from the river to the sea. If as a result, they find themselves homeless and landless, it would perhaps be the kind of lesson that might even penetrate their thick skulls.
In the same vein, Israel yesterday legally set up many new communities in Judea and Samaria that are now recognized by the government as part of the land of Israel. I’m hopeful that the entire West Bank will soon be taken over by Israel because there is no alternative if we want to keep Hamas terrorists out of our borders.
The firm stance of the United States in backing us will help shorten the conflicts, bringing us peace internally and externally. And in my opinion, when the Gazans shuffle off to Buffalo, we should tie up Gaza with a a red ribbon and hand the whole place over to our dear friend Donald Trump for his birthday.
