GAZA WAR DIARY: 2 SEPTEMBER 2024

According to Israel Today, Channel 12 has published a document found in a Gaza tunnel where Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar had been located. The document contains the following guidelines for Hamas officials and operatives: “Increase the production of photos and video clips showing the hostages in order to create psychological pressure [on Israel]. Do everything to increase the psychological pressure on [Israeli Defense Minister Yoav] Gallant. Push the line of thinking that Netanyahu is responsible for everything that happens. Damage the Israeli narrative that the military ground operation aids the return of the hostages.”

It seems to me that the cease-fire-now rabble in Israeli streets are Sinwar’s little helpers. They are no more or less than a fifth column, traitors who are undermining Israel’s attempts to destroy its genocidal enemies and dishonoring the fallen IDF soldiers who have given their lives to achieve that goal for our country.

With each day that passes, I find myself getting angrier and angrier. I have tried for some time to understand them, to find some saving grace for their outrageous behavior which gives aid and succor to our enemies. They are heartbroken over the hostages. They are supporting the hostage families. ETC. ETC. But no more. If they want to place blame, why not place it on Hamas who kidnapped our people and murdered them instead of Bibi Netanyahu who in all our names refuses to surrender to Hamas’ genocidal demands to withdraw from Gaza and especially the border with Egypt where Sinwar hopes to escape and take our hostages with him.

They say Sinwar is surrounded by twenty handcuffed hostages at all times. What do these geniuses in our streets suggest we do, huh? Gantz has joined the protestors. That big nothing general turned politician who quit in the middle of the war and has sat on his backside ever since. Why would we vote for him ever again?

The behavior of Defense Minister Gallant, who said we need to leave the Philadelphi Corridor – is disgusting. He would do us all a favor by resigning since Bibi will not fire him.

Yair Lapid – that absolute waste of space politician who has done absolutely nothing but sit back and complain this entire war, is now trying to drum up support for an assassination attempt on Bibi by saying the hostages’ deaths are Bibi’s fault (he needs to be arrested for incitement).

Similarly, the leaders of this movement blocking our streets and shutting down our businesses and airports are all traitors. So are my stupid neighbors sending out notices for new demonstrations on the WhatsApp for our street that we use to trade information on plumbers and electricians. One of these days I’m going to tell those idiots what I really think of them…

Yes, I’ve had it. Didn’t they learn anything from the disunity leading up to October 7?

Each day, we survive by miracles. Yesterday a vehicle with a powerful car bomb made of two large gas canisters was apprehended at the entrance to the Ateret community in Benjamin before it could be parked in front of a school bus stop filled with children starting first grade, for example. Due to the vigilance of the population, the car was spotted at 4:30 in the morning, and sappers were called in. Because the car’s windows had been blacked out, sappers were initially unable to verify what was inside. But after skillful work, were able to identify it as a car bomb. All our thanks to the brilliant team that did a controlled explosion, neutralizing the threat. A video of it made my skin crawl. What devastation it would have caused!

Israel Gantz, head of the Benjamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council said: “A great miracle happened this morning in Benjamin. Terrorism in Judea and Samaria requires military action just like in Gaza and Rafah. The population must be mobilized and the terror neighborhoods and infrastructures must be razed to the ground.”

That’s exactly what’s happening. A security official said: “We are exerting enormous pressure on the terrorist organizations. In northern Samaria, the Jordon Vally and the Hebron area, about 30 terrorists have already been eliminated.” The IDF has been tearing up the streets of Jenin for six days.

This car bomb comes after the double attack in Gush Etzion between Friday and Saturday. The first vehicle exploded, according to estimates, due to a “work accident” at a gas station at the junction, and the terrorist who managed to get out was killed afterwards. Minutes later, another terrorist entered the nearby village of Karmey Tzur with a second vehicle – but he was also eliminated by the security patrol who chased him and rammed him before he was taken into custody.

Turns out, one of the dead terrorists used to work on the security detail for Mahmoud Abbas of the “moderate” Palestinian Authority that Biden thinks we should hand Gaza over to. All of them, all of them, are terrorists (to borrow a line from Rosemary’s Baby: “all of them, all of them witches…”): Hamas, Hezbollah, PA.They are all Islamic murderers. None of them can be trusted. No two-state nothing. Maybe after reeducation in a hundred years we can talk about it again. Or maybe the Fakestinians, invented by terrorist Yasir Arafat, a grifter Egyptian, in the 1970’s , can all just go back to the Muslim countries they came from: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Jordan, Egypt? What, there is a shortage of Islamic “homelands?

I remember once how a cab driver in Jerusalem whose family had been here for a hundred years, told me: “they wandered in on their donkeys from all over without a pot to piss in, sat down on the ground, and now it’s theirs. Their land!

And if you want to blame someone other than Hamas for our dead hostages, blame Biden-Harris.

I’m so tired of the US college demonstrations with students who have no idea what they’re protesting. The president’s of these schools have shown their true colors by refusing to acknowledge the rights of Jewish students on campus. These supposed intelligent students have no idea or concern for Israel. Instead of educating themselves, many at the expense of parents.
Until people wake up rather than woke, conflicts will continue and the plight of Jews will continue.

As a matter of history, the records show that the “martyrs of Gaza” were sixty Christians who were imprisoned, tortured and eventually murdered by Islamic invaders in the 630s.

So: history shows us that Jews were there BC, let alone BM, and Christians were there in the 630s too.

To be clear then: The forces of Islam, at a loose end after the death of their so-called “prophet,” invaded, oppressed and occupied the area in the 630s.

So all these people who want to make historical claims on that piece of territory, I ask – whose “homeland” is it really? Certainly not the Arabs, who came from Arabia (their actual homeland – the clue’s in the name) and invaded the area.

Jews (and Christians) both inhabited the Gaza territory long before the Mohammedans came along. This is an historical fact.

I agree with every word you write. I don’t understand how we became so divided; just because they hate Bibi? It is so painful what is happening to us and the “silent” American Jews. You didn’t write enough about Yair Lapid. The Jerusalem Post writes nothing about this “shtick drek” and I believe he’s the main culprit – Biden/Obama’s puppet (along with Gantz and Gallant). He is the complete opposite of a “MENSCH.” All he does is cry to the U.S. (and the U.S. Jews; like they care). He is the biggest LOSER in our history (I wouldn’t trust him to be a madrich in Tzofim) and his 20 minutes of being the prime minister should be erased from our history.

You should not judge people who have family members as hostages.
As for Netanyhou he is responible for the situation.
He has been prime minister for 14-15 years and that’s where we are.
He is the one who sold cement to Hamas so they can build tunnels..
He is the one who supported the transfer of Billions (B) of dollars
    to Hamas from Qatar.
He is the one who pushed the judicial reform on the country so
he will not have to go to prison.
His decisions are tainted by self interest.
The sooner we get rid of him the better.

Bibi is certainly not responsible for pushing judicial reform on the country in order not to go to prison. That’s absolutely ridiculous. The Supreme Court, under Chief Justice Aharon Barak turned the country from a democracy into a judicial dictatorship, with the Supreme Court amassing more power than any other court in the free world. The anarchists and paid demonstrators opposing the reform were the same people demanding that Israel withdraw immediately from Gaza thereby losing the war, and country, to Hamas, in order to release the handful of hostages not yet murdered by Hamas.

We people of the world see Israelis setting fires in the street, clashing with Police and it is distressing to see. Has anyone had an idea for dealing with Terrorists short of unleashing the monsters on the world, ESP. Israel? I was sent a post, from a FB friend in Germany. There were 4 separate photos of Gazan men, in anguish as they held up the same charred doll. Yes, a DOLL. From the ” news” outlet booted from Israel. Yesterday, we grieved alongside Israel, over the brutal murders of yet 6 more hostages. As I was writing this, Biden /Harris came out blaming Netanyahu for hostage deaths. 2 weeks ago, the U.S. said it is only HAMAS to blame for agreement failures. So when it’s obvious this corrupt Admin, isn’t going to any credit, the blame game is in full swing. So grateful for your honesty and information. It is harder and harder to come by. 🇮🇱🌷

Absolutely – they are all very much in need of mental treatment.
They are a curse to the country and the Jewish people and only concerned for their “humanity” and nobody else’s.
They want the public to have compassion for the hostage families but none of them have compassion for the families of our brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice – the widows, the orphans, the parents

Naomi, thanks for being such a clear voice of sanity! Even when the news is gut-wrenching, as it has been for the last few days, you always cheer me up with your passionate, undying love for our poor little country that is beleaguered on all sides from without and within.

  8. Sarah

Powerful words, Naomi. Absolutely on point. Bibi has broad shoulders. I trust him more than Gallant, Lapid, et al, who are focussed more on their political prospects than on Israel’s future. Their hatred of Bibi is all encompassing. Kick the can down the road so that another generation can fight and die. Find another hardliner like Bibi and then speak of replacing him. In the interim remember who invaded Israel: Hamas with their fellow Muslims supporting its every heinous movement. Not Bibi.

  9. Ellen Calderon (Solomon)

I got angry too when I saw on TV the crowds in Israel carrying on about the war in Gaza thousands of them should take a weapon and fight in Gaza and free whoever is left of the prisoners
