You know I used to be afraid of the Iranians. They were enriching uranium. They were planning to build an atom bomb. They had all these proxies. So it took me a while to realize they are really not too bright and their much vaunted Revolutionary Guards are the biggest bunch of clowns ever.
While Israeli intelligence executed the greatest pre-emptive strike in modern military history, decimating the ranks of evil Hezbollah terrorists, what was Iranian intelligence doing? Recruiting Moti Maman, 73, from Ashkelon to assassinate our Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
You just have to look at Moti sitting in an Israeli court to understand how laughable the whole thing was. Because who were they recruiting? Fauda? James Bond? There he was, old Moti, looking like your favorite neighborhood grocery store owner, a foolish smile on his silly face, his hands folded in his lap, a little man that probably uses a spray to kill roaches instead of stepping on them. He was the one they picked to infiltrate the elaborate security around our Prime Minister and assassinate him?
Following the blowing up of Haniyeh in the special “guest house for honored friends” in Teheran, it was just too good.
This, apparently, was the great plan in the works for their red flag of revenge for Haniyeh’s demise. Honestly, can you take these people seriously?
Not that Moti Maman isn’t a traitor and an idiot who deserves to rot in prison the rest of his life. His lawyer calls his clandestine meetings with Iranian operatives “an error of judgement.” No, sorry. He himself said he doesn’t know what he would have done if they’d actually paid him what he asked for.
In April this year, Moti, who has business dealings in Turkey, was approachecd by two Turkish people – Andrey Farouk Aslan and Junayd Aslan – to meet with a rich businessman living in Iran named Eddy, to discuss business. But Eddy, apparently, never could find the time to come to Turkey, so Moti agreed to be smuggled into Iran by a private train car. After Moti understood what “business deal” was on the table, he asked for one million dollars (why not?). Instead, they gave him 5,000 Euro, which he gladly pocketed. Once back in Israel, he let the Iranians know that he couldn’t possibly breach high level security (like they couldn’t have figured that out! Morons!) Eventually, the Shabak and police, who were watching him all the time, picked him up.
In prison, Moti has denied none of the allegations against him. In fact, he looks relieved. As he told Channel 12: “It’s good that you arrested me, I don’t know where it could have gone.”
Hezbollah operatives are watching their blow-hard leader Nasrallah bloviate today from their hospital beds. What did their Nasrallah say in his usual long-winded fashion? With the help of Abu Ali, I’ll summarize: “We suffered a heavy blow.We will get over it. We will take revenge. We will continue to act as a support front for Gaza and we will not stop fighting until the war in Gaza stops. We know that the enemy possesses superior technological means. This is the cost of war.”
In other words, according to Israel Today: “Hezbollah will not back down and spare the people of Lebanon more war and suffering. They are hostages to the jihadists’ will.”
He also said, laughably, he considers the beeper blow-ups “a declaration of war.”
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! And sending rockets our way and anti-tank missiles into apartment buildings was… what? A game of Scrabble?
Today alone, forty rockets were fired at Israel by Hezbollah. Israel has carried out a large number of attacks in Southern Lebanon as of five p.m.
With the weight of the war shifting to the Lebanese theatre, the IDF spokesman announced the death of a reserve company commander in the Harev Battalion and a Golani soldier while fighting in the north who fell as a result of Hezbollah attacks earlier today. May their memories be a blessing.
How I hate this war!
But is it not better for we Jews to die in battle, than in pogroms? Everyone knows, this is a war of “no choice.”
According to Israel Today, Israel has proposed a single-phase deal to bring an immediate end to the war in the Gaza Strip.
- Hamas releases ALL of the remaining Israeli hostages.
- Israel allows Yahya Sinwar and other senior Hamas officials to leave Gaza and seek asylum elsewhere.
In other words, Hamas surrenders, exits the Gaza Strip, and the war is over. Period. Simple as that.
Except there is no way Hamas will ever take the deal. As long as they have guns, explosives, and willing – and unwilling – Gazans bodies to burn for their cause, they will continue until the last man, woman and child.
IDF Spokesman: “The Hezbollah terrorist organization has turned southern Lebanon into a combat zone. For decades, Hezbollah has weaponized civilian homes, dug tunnels beneath them, and used civilians as human shields. The IDF is operating to bring security to northern Israel in order to enable the return of residents to their homes, as well as to achieve all of the war goals.”
