Gaza War Diary: 14 MARCH 2024

Yesterday I spoke about the two blood libels that are being used to defame Israel and the Jewish people, both of them lies manufactured by Hamas propagandists and disseminated by ruthlessly evil supporters of the barbaric Muslim Jihadist war initiated by the terrorist group Hamas against us: the inflated, false Gazan death statistics propagated by Hamas, and the campaign, entirely bogus, of “famine” in Gaza.

Now let’s talk about the third libel: Genocide, which is perhaps the most egregious of all. First, a definition — a genocide is the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.

Considering that Hamas’ charter actually calls for the genocide of the Jewish people, and that the completely unprovoked onslaught and murder of 1,200 Israelis on October 7 was a genocidal act — i.e. done deliberately, consciously and thoughtfully in an unhurried way with the aim of putting an end to the existence of the Jewish people in the land of Israel — calling what is happening in Gaza “genocide” is a Nazi propaganda technique, the Big Lie, a German expression first used by Adolf Hitler in Mein Kampf to describe how people could be induced to believe so colossal a lie because they would not believe that someone “could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously as to accuse the victim of the perpetrator’s crime.” This describes exactly what Hamas and its supporters are doing.

I hate the fact that I have to state the obvious: Israel, involved in a defensive war started by Hamas, is not targeting any ethnic group. It is simply fighting a war against a genocidal enemy and its supporters who attacked, raped, mutilated and kidnapped its civilians. This is the duty of any country. The growth of the Palestinian population in Gaza and in Israel completely contradicts accusations of genocide or ethnic cleansing. If the terror group Hamas would lay down its arms and surrender and release our hostages, the killing would stop immediately because it is not ideologically based.

It makes me positively ill to have to state the obvious. But when fighting the “Big Lie” one has no choice. Why talk about this at all? Because it has become commonplace with ordinary people to try to be “even-handed” when discussing this war against terror, as they compare Hamas atrocities to Israel’s war of defense, using the wide brush of “inhumanity” to describe both. More and more often, we hear ordinary people, like that moron director Jonathan Glazer accusing Israel of “inhumanity”: “Right now, we stand here as men who refute their Jewishness and the Holocaust being hijacked by an occupation which has led to conflict for so many innocent people, whether the victims of October the 7th in Israel or the the ongoing attack on Gaza, all the victims, this dehumanization, how do we resist?”

Yes, according to the Big Lie, these things are equivalent: the “occupation” i.e. Jews living in their homeland supposedly using the Holocaust as their “excuse” for living there, which dehumanizes the “poor Palestinians.” And this, according to Glazer, is equivalent to Hamas’ genocidal act on October 7. That makes zero sense. The International Court of Justice too, by just acknowledging South Africa’s completely unsubstantiated case accusing Israel of genocide and agreeing that “genocide accusations should be further investigated”, added further fuel to this Big Lie.

You see? That’s how it works. And this is my greatest fear. After repeating this Big Lie enough times, when genocide against the Jews begins to erupt across the globe — something I believe we are already seeing in flash points everywhere — the enemy together with their ignorant and brainwashed hordes of supporters will say: “It’s unfortunate, but the Jews brought it on themselves because of their genocide against Palestinians.” We must try to protest each and every instance of the Big Lie.

This morning, relatives of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza blocked the busy Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv. Israel Today described the two very different protest movements to free the hostages. One demands a hostage exchange at any price, including a permanent ceasefire that leaves Hamas in control of Gaza, blaming the Israeli government for rejecting such a deal. The other group demands Israel escalate the war and push forward until victory, putting Hamas under heavy military pressure. They blame the government for tying the army’s hands and preventing total war. And while this debate goes on, the hostages live in unthinkable conditions that break every Israeli’s heart.

Funny how Muslims celebrate their holidays by killing people. Since Ramadan began, terrorist attacks all over Israel have been constant. Just today, a resident of the Bedouin city Rahat stabbed a 50 year-old man in the back in Beit Kama in southern Israel. The attack took place in Café Aroma near the gas station. Despite being critically wounded, the victim shot the terrorist, saving other potential victims. He was treated by paramedics and then evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beersheva, where he later died.

Yesterday, two Israelis were wounded in a terrorist stabbing at the “tunnel road” checkpoint between Gush Etzion and Jerusalem by a fifteen year-old with a knife who rode in on an electric bike. JNS reported that Magen David Adom personnel treated a 19-year-old female member of the IDF Military Police and a 25-year-old male civilian security guard at the scene who had tried to question the attacker. Both were evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem in good-to-moderate condition. IDF troops responded by fatally shooting the terrorist, identified as Mohamed Abu Hamed, from al-Khader, near Bethlehem.

“There are too many extremists trying to escalate the situation [during Ramadan],” said Israel Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai during a tour of the attack scene.”

On Jewish holidays, we go to synagogue and pray, eat too much food, and spend time with our loved ones. Palestinians should try that sometime instead of turning Ramadan into a jihadi slaughter-fest.

And again you nailed it !
All I can now pray for is that the IDF does not take anymore prisoners that have to be fed and taken care of !
And you call it the big lie… I just call it simple Jew Hatred, again and again and again. We have seen it so often in each generation…
Hopefully the IDF is able to neutralize every last Hamas fighter, but we both know that will not stop Hating Jews. It makes me laugh when I think of how the world would look like if the (UN)educated people of the world with all their chanting got their way…. it would mean everybody would have to live in a very dark world, with no rights, probably neither for men or women, and with what they now would call a very stupid backward law…. Sorry the stupids will not even be allowed to chant : Jews please come back and do good for the world again! So lets just pray for Hamas to be destroyed completely by the IDF in the years to come in every corner of the world. So not only Jews, but even the stupids can live in peace everywhere they want !
